HANDICAP & MOBILITY IMPAIRED NOTICE

In order to better accommodate our guests who are handicapped or mobility impaired, there will be two designated areas for those who are in wheelchairs or otherwise mobility impaired. One area will be blocked off and clearly marked at the intersection of Throckmorton St. and Cedar Springs Rd. (between JR's and Zephyr Cafe). The other will be at the Oak Lawn United Methodist Church on the corner of Cedar Springs Rd. and Oak Lawn Ave. Those using these spaces will need to bring their own tents for shade but they will have a preferred viewing location.

Important things to know.

Parade Route TENT Policy
Personal pop-up tents are no longer permitted in the congested areas of the parade route, basically between Knight St. and  Oak Lawn Ave. Only pre-approved merchant tents will be allowed. If you would like to set up a tent, please use Cedar Springs Rd. between Oak Lawn Avenue and Turtle Creek Blvd. Look for the "No Tents" signage to assist you with correct placement areas. Please check out our FAQ page for more.

Festival Bag Policy
Dallas Pride strongly encourages attendees to not bring any type of bags. Backpacks are not allowed inside the Festival. However, a clear bag policy has been implemented. Click here for full bag policy PDF.

Parking and Transit
Parking is always an issue. Street parking fills up very fast on Parade weekend. For the Festival on Saturday, a designated taxi/car service area will be located at the corner of Turtle Creek Blvd. and Fairmount St.

DART bus route #29 will service the Festival in Reverchon Park. For Parade Day, consider using routes #29, #39 or #409.
